Within your Heart

What selfless courage you have shown
Whose comrades died so far from home.
When all you hoped to leave behind
Would be a constant on your mind.
Informing all that you would be
What prospects will tomorrow see?
The sky, the beauties all around
The breath of life with every sound.
Within your heart, you may have cried
You lived each day for those who died.
The clouds of sorrow, too, would pass
You’d find true peace and rest at last.
