You should rest weary Soldier.

You have given your commitment; you have served your time.
Flags have fallen in your honour; tears have fallen by your side.

I will surely remember you as I stand my ground on this ‘foreign field’.

I was there by your side. Do you remember?

Times have passed friend, and seasons have forgotten, but we will remain perpetual.

Was it not ‘my Brother’ who stood beside me and cried for his children?

Relentless is the war that steals a man from his brethren.
Relentless is the war that steals the man from his kin.

I was there. Did you hear me?

Stand by my side now ‘Brother’,
We shall walk again side by side.
