Treat Me

How many more tears do you want me to shed?
before you listen before you hear what is said
you’ll find no solution in words in your book
you make me a study of each page where you look

“I am me” individual I have my own fears
when terrors return I cry my own tears
so don’t think of letters in front of your eyes
look straight at me to treat me is wise

Remember my past and all I have learned
experiences to me have all been hard earned
but that is the things that make up who I am
shaped for my life from my days in a pram

“I am here” must I shout before you will look
at me as I am not at your damn book
then can I progress a life to rebuild
perhaps even then I can feel fulfilled
