The Seasons of Life…

By 9th January 2017December 9th, 2019No Comments

Tiny-rose diamonds in the sky
Engage the aspect of the eye.
Entrammeled there amongst the trees
Our every sense would seem to please.
To bring contentment to that heart
A troubled life might rend apart.
At whose parting -a poet might say
This was a sad and solemn day…
Yet, with its dying, dawn will bring
The promise of the coming spring.
The breath of summer’s in the air
The sound of laughter’s everywhere.
The golden-awnings of the leaves-
Frosted-webs upon the winter trees.
All must journey down this path
The seasons of our lives, thus, pass
