The mighty oak stands tall and firm

The mighty oak stands tall and firm
He towers above them all
He is wise and old
And the strongest of them all
It takes a lot to make a mighty oak fall

The pine tree sways back and forth in the wind
Bending this way and that
His flexibility is his strength
As the wind blows through
The pine tree knows what to do

The apple tree will bear us with fruit
He will provide food for us all
No matter how big no matter how small

If only we were like trees
How easy would life be?
We have a lot we can learn
From being like the tree’s
