The Head Monster

I have a monster in my head,
I can feel it move around,
I hide it so you never see,
And they have named it P.T.S.D.

I have panic in my voice box,
I can feel it rising up,
All I want to do is scream,
And forget all the nightmares that I’ve seen.

I have a tremble in my limbs,
There is nothing I can do,
With sweat dripping from my palm,
I am chaos in the calm.
