The Comfort In A Tear.

By 7th March 2012December 9th, 2019No Comments

I saw that tear you hid so well,
Mixed within the rain that fell,
It marked the day I marched away,
Following the orders that I must obey.

I shall forever carry with me that tear,
To calm my worst worry and fear,
Through all the times of peril and pain,
Through the mists of red and burning flame.

It will shine the path that I shall tread,
And Brighten the bumpy road ahead,
Through all the months of hell I knew,
That with this tear I would return to you.
