The Beginning the Middle the End

By 2nd June 2009December 9th, 2019No Comments

We all have a beginning a middle and an end
We are dragged into this life kicking and screaming
Ripped from our mother’s womb
All too soon we end up in our tomb

Does it really matter what you have seen
And what you have done
Along the way did you have some fun?

I have watched relatives grow old before my eyes
All too soon those loved ones have died
I have stood at their grave and how I have cried
So saddened at their loss so sad when they died
I have lost a daughter a cousin a granddad
Their passing made me so very sad

I looked to myself and the life that l lead
What is it l want what is it l need
My desire for stuff has turned to greed

I think of my loved ones and the time that they had
Did they live good lives were they happy were they sad?
Look to yourself and think of a time
When was my life truly mine?
For we all have a beginning a middle and end
And we all know how that story is going to end?
