Sleep eludes me

By 9th October 2010December 9th, 2019No Comments

The Morning creeps up slowly
The twilight fading fast
My body near exhausted
Another day at last

With the dawn rising to greet me
I’v’e yet to wake on this delight
This day it shall immerse forever
And in great sadness, I shall just wait for another night

My senses really come alive
In the hours before dawn
My body is not tired
But I sometimes have to yawn !
