Men of valour

By 22nd August 2009December 9th, 2019No Comments

You do all you are charged to do
Honour that trust reposed in you.
Worthy of every task you’re set
Whose equal few have ever met.
Staunch friends, loyal hearts and true
Your country owes a debt to you…
Men of valour who earned our praise
Who went as heroes to their graves…

Words come too readily to the pen,
How rarely do we find such men…
