IN PASSING

Eyes of vision seen, perchance to dream of warm embrace
A fleeting touch of hands caressed in passing midst a dance of love
Scented frame surrounding heart of passion, formed within my mind
Lingers in my senses oft’ times pondered during reminisce

Nearness of your breath withheld in memory secure in time
Of days when we were one, in moments true sublime with cherished thought
Lazy walks in handed glove, the comfort gleaned betwixt enjoined
Through fields of heather bracken textured soft by touch divine

In knowing each our every whim, upon life’s parchment written bold
A declaration of intent should parting ways be heavens call
To hold a place where we can stroll and angels chorus serenade
When you are mine and I am yours, beyond a dream of earth confined
