GORDON

Gordon’s struggle now is over, after all these past few years
Of fancy pills and treatment and many hidden fears

May he keep a good watch over us as we go about our days.
Perhaps we will have learnt from him and adopt his gentle ways

We may not manage handsomely and may struggle for a while
But when we think of Gordon lets wear a great big smile

Let the memories be happy, let the memories be fond
As we stand here thinking lovingly besides his favourite pond

May he rest in peace.
