Forgiveness

I’m sitting here before my P.C. screen,
Thinking about things that might have been,
Things in my life that I have seen,
Lifetime hate between Orange and Green.

Some things in life I’ve put to the test,
Being right don’t give you a bullet-proof vest,
It really don’t matter who thinks he’s best,
Cause before God we will be judged like all the rest.

And as we all seek out our happiness,
In jobs and sex we show a willingness,
I ain’t calling for anything drastic or reckless,
But we could all start by showing FORGIVENESS
