Drifting Away In Time

by | Feb 1, 2011 | Poetry | 0 comments

Every time you see dense fog
Drifting over the poppy fields,
Remember the pain of age
And give them peace

Every time you hear screams
Calling from far away,
Remember those voices
and treasure them
Or they will be lost to time.

Even if there are a thousand screams
Remember each and every one –
And let the poppies flourish;
For they hold memories of all.
