Down to Earth

No man has ever reached such heights before
Beyond the realm where any creature flies
To faintly brush and knock on Heaven’s door
A dream for one played out before our eyes
Ascending ever upwards he espied
Our world in all its glory spread beneath
A gift from God to fill our hearts with pride
Unto mankind in hope, He did bequeath
To see Creation as was His intend
With all the beauty Deity hath Blessed
Couldst nought but Spirit shake to then amend
In witnessing such sights would e’er have guessed
Once more in Faith he leaps into the fold
Embraced by Angels wings for one so bold
