Another Man’s Shoes

In solitude thou wand‘rest; tho’ tis sad
Whilst others cling to ‘Family and Home’
Couldst e’er thou choose (if ever choice thou had)
Such parallel existence spent alone
As journey’s end doth beckon to us all
Tis how one roams which may determine fate
Shouldst fellow man cry out, wouldst heed the call
Or keep to chosen path; to not relate
“Each to his own” is mantra often heard
Above the din; excusing options trail
Yet spare a thought for those quite unprepared
To deal with trials of life as they unveil
Not all are ‘Blessed’ with clarity of thought
In seeking out what ‘Man’ hath always sought
