When north winds do blow

When north winds do blow
Whither do thee wander said the sun to the cloud
As you whisper by me, and you whisper not loud
Oh where did you come from, and where now do you go?
Sometimes flying by fast, when the north winds do blow.

You are dressed in white, and sometimes murky grey
Sometimes theres crowd of you, or just one, like today
And you hide Sun’s face from all the good folk below
But you look so afraid when the north winds do blow.

Why do you sometimes race, when you could gently slip?
Or maybe sail by, like a tall majestic ship
As you whisper by me, my bright rays make you glow
But you look so frightened, when north winds do blow.

Do you still sail the Heavens when I go to sleep
Or do you stay with Mr Moon, comfort so to keep
Or wrap around the stars, and hide romantic glow
Or do you run and hide, when the north winds do blow.
