Life is lost and people cry
Why so many have to die
War causes such bitter pain
Loved ones never seen again
Ask the ones what they saw
They will tell what is war
Pain, blood many lives lost
War is nothing but human cost
Death and suffering all around
So many bodies buried underground
Even me who ended up blind
Cannot wipe the memories from their minds
Comrades, friend’s brothers and all
