We shall meet

Beneath the heavens of day and night
The darkest dark and the lightest light
Leave not my thoughts! Never more depart
For you are indeed, my true sweetheart

As planets meet in the void of space
The stars all shine and white clouds do race
Above the earth; across ink-stain sky
To make humans always wonder why?

Not if! But when the planets do meet
Shall we all then say, with love I greet
NOT I! For my love is only yours,
Although you abide on distant shores

Across oceans wide deep feeling holds
And in each our breast true love enfolds
One day for sure, when we two do meet
Our hearts shall entwine upon your street.
