War is a Dark Green

War is a dark green
It smells like a burning bullet zooming past your face
War tastes like a sour plum tickling your throat
It sounds like a volcano erupting right in front of your eyes
It feels like sandpaper being rubbed on your body
War lives in the middle of a lonely desert

Peace is a bright white colour
It smells like flowers in a silent garden
Peace tastes like hot chocolate slipping down your throat
It sounds like birds singing in the tree tops
It feels like sleeping on a big fluffy cloud
Peace lives in the heart of your soul
