God provided water
To satisfy our thirst
He did not have to tell us
Who was last or who was first
God gave us the knowledge
Of how to make a cup
At no point did He tell us
Who could or could not sup
God’s plan was very simple
He gave us all we see
He tried to cover everything
Except how stupid we could be
God didn’t know just how
Unbending we could be
How drinking from another’s cup
Would soon end so brutally
Now God has to suffer
And watch from way up high
How Religious persecution
Means a woman has to die
