Turn Back Time

If time alone doth hinder conscience gained
In ridding of said burden, deemed obscure
To some it may seem no-one can be blamed
For leaving of this earthbound realm, impure
Mine heart yet cries for one whom life hath shorn
‘Neath history ignored ‘twixt timeless feud
A Parent’s Son, indeed their own first born
Whom did in short span, innocence exude
Please cleanse the soul of men in darkness held
Forgive such actions taken by their kind
What evil form doth make them feel compelled
In perpetrating acts which leave them blind
Pray heal my troubled mind lest I’m enjoined
With time, from whence humanity purloined.
