True Friendship

True friendship is a precious thing
It makes the birds in summer sing
And flowers lift their smiling face
To make the world a better place.

True friendship smiles from deep of heart
Banishing distance for a start
Stretching hands across the sea
Like branches, of the great oak tree.

True friendship comes straight from the heart
Though friends may live so far apart
Friendships love, shall with might prevail
And billow like a great ships sail.

Friendship is built of mighty strength
By deep trust of enduring length
Comfort for each that never ends
These are qualities of true friends.
