TO THE OLD BROAD OAK

By 5th October 2016December 9th, 2019No Comments

Oh old broad oak, I’ll miss you

If you are gone before I

You that’s stood the test of time

Weathered many a storm

And watched the passing hours go by

From dawn to dawn

You whose ancient rooms, with oaken beams

On many a lonely night

Inspired and re-lit fast fading dreams,

Put doubt and fears to flight
