The wrong choice

I was just sixteen
Just starting on my own
Daddy and I had nowhere to call home
I think about you ever day
No matter if anythings said
Because memories of you blow through my head
Knowing i made the mistake of taking your life
Me and Daddy will be with you soon
But in the meantime please patiently wait
As we will both meet you at the gates
I hope you have fun in heaven
And are as happy and free as can be
I’m sorry i took your life
But at the time i thought i was right
But now that i look back
I would change what i did on that fateful night
