The Stones

From all around the world we hail

Ex Ganges boys, who the sea did sail

Shamrock, Thistle, Daffodil and Rose

The Elephant, here in smart repose

We forget our aches and petty moans

We come to dedicate these stones

From ages past to present Day

We remember them all as we pray

Standing here we recollect

Together now in Deep respect

Their service to our country dear

Despite the pain and some times fear

We remember them now and every year

May they rest in peace?
