The Gardeners Enemy

This young lady’s a bit upset
At what she’s seen outside
That all the work she put into the flower bed
Has apparently withered and died
But now this female slouth
With magnifying glass at the ready to hand
Looking for a reasonable answer to why
Her plants met their demise un-planned
Maybe caused by the nasty garden pests
But now she’s seen the give away trails
Of Mother natures enemies
Those horrible slugs and snails
So into the shed for the solution
For she’ll not let this matter rest
Then sprinkle a generous helping of Slug Pellets
To get rid of her unseen garden pest
Then once more plant the flower beds
With young seedlings anew
And hope that all her efforts
Will bring the Flowers smiling through
