The End / The Beginning

That bright star showed them the way,
Where a King was born and respect to pay,
A palace, castle one would think,
No it was a stable with animals that stink.

Probably grew up like us all in the HOOD,
He found he could use his hands with wood,
Water to wine? A problem no way,
So he gave it up for forty nights and a day.

He came back amongst us and served up a dish,
Not bad from loaves and a couple of fish,
He found it strange something was amiss,
Then his fate was sealed by nothing more than a kiss.

So he went with two others to the top of the hill,
It got pretty dark in the air was a chill,
Father forgive them they know not what they do,
Welcome me father as I join you.

And so one is born to be part of the end,
But the end is the beginning when you ascend,
Try and be as good as you can,
Because after all we are only human.
