The Cost of War

By 12th January 2007December 9th, 2019No Comments

Whenever our soldiers die in war,
The nation’s wounds are many…and deep.
This loss of lifeblood, it must be told,
Is greater than at first we think…for
The cost of war does not come cheap,
When the wounds of our nation…they bleed pure gold.
