Splendid love

Seeking love in deep heavens there afar,
I saw in splendour, a most awesome star*
Imagine then! To my utmost surprise,
Your face appeared there before my eyes.

{And the whole world then glowed with splendid love.}

The large smiling Moon with its silver face,
Looks down on earth, through clouds of whisper lace.
As bright star beams dance around midnight sky,
Brown Jersey cow jumps over moon on high.

{And the whole world then glowed with splendid love.}

Then! In a twinkling of the human eye,
A bright streak of lightning fills the dark sky,
The animals in fright all go to earth,
Then the sun shone through, on a new days birth.

{And the whole world then glowed with splendid love.}

A day of new hope, to pray and to live;
The more that you have the more you should give,
With whisper of dawn; a golden new day,
Let all kneel, and to the good Lord we pray.

{And all the world just glowed with splendid love.}
