“Sofa So Good”

Reclining at the end of day, what bliss!
With boots discarded twinkling my toes
The world at large can count themselves remiss
In plodding on, not casting off their loads
Tis heaven when one takes time out to sit
With laptop on my knee should I propose
Whilst penning such as this to make lines fit
Said title which my muse in wisdom chose
To lounge around and couch my thoughts in rhyme
Would seem a pastime filled by fantasy
A life expressed in words some say confine
Yet outcome proves ‘tis then I’m truly free
Alight upon ‘Chaise longue’ let your heart sing
Replete with all the tools and do your thing
