So Fair of Face

Her breath in senses caught, produced frisson
Whilst dabbing of my brow with gentle touch
Angelic was visage I gazed upon
As I had oft (in dreams) recounted such
With caring eyes protective of one’s soul
No thought possessed couldst e’er in harm convey
A smile so warm twud make a body whole
Should light of life begin to fade away
Tis grateful that I am, to be her charge
If e’er the folds of darkness crease my mind
Through soothing words; no need to vent barrage
Becalms the waves within (I think you’ll find)
Creator’s hand gives licence to art form
Who with one look, existence can transform
