Silence Reigned

Unspoken words as held within one’s heart
Mean so much more than I dare choose to say
Should e’er by grace therein, new genus start
Sweet fragrant prose may bloom to form bouquet
First seeds were sown when act of kindness swayed
In understanding of said ‘Lonely plight’
When lost in life, emotions seem’d as stay’d
Awaiting call once more into the light
‘Twas then thro’ knowing, somehow hath perceived
My deepest thoughts may spill out o’er the page
Earned trust allowed my quill to then proceed
Expressing all, didst help me to assuage
Such darkness cloaked existence; kept from view
Now leased from shadows chains; in debt to you
