Service

Some will call it sacrifice
But service is its name
At times these things are different
But for me they are the same

Protect and serve with honor
There is no greater call
For family, friends and neighbors
I gladly gave it all

It’s not about the glory
It’s a calling we all know
A silent pride of service
That few do ever show

Remember me with honor
Let another take the lead
And answer every siren
With purpose, pride and speed
