Respect

You called me out of the blue
I didn’t know what to do,
I hadn’t heard your voice
Or listened to your ploy,
For what seems like a hundred years
The last time we spoke
You reduced me to tears,
I have moved on since that day
I am no longer here to use and play,
Manipulation is your game
Control is your aim,
Maybe I should give you some advice
Take a good long look at yourself,
Leave your anger on the shelf
Respect yourself, so you can then respect others,
It is up to you to discover the true you
Like I always wanted you to
