Replenished

Mine heart doth lie bereft in wasteful pause
Relinquishing such joy as life may hold
Lest search within results in hopeful cause
To halt this slide in distancing from fold
Yon golden summer haze of youthful days
Now seasons out of time in my recall
Couldst carry warmth that yearning yet still craves
If mindset deems to rid myself of pall
As autumn years doth bring sweet cleansing breeze
In soothing brow ‘twixt stressful times when torn
Wouldst then perchance my ailing form to ease
Whilst breathing in fresh air new winds have borne
No more a sense of tears in pained remorse
If love doth find its flow midst wending course
