Remember

A hundred years ago in a land far away
Millions of soldiers died to give us our today
The war to end all wars that’s what they said
look at us now millions more dead
No one is safe wherever they go
The world is in turmoil don’t we know
Is it religion or politics it’s all the same
So wear your poppies now for those that have gone
remember the war, remember the Somme
But also remember the wars since then.
They won’t grow old we will remember them.
