RACE TO THE LIGHT

Love is an angel, death the thief who steals it away!
I’m living with an empty heart now and don’t know how to stop the pain!
Wrap me in bandages stench the flow,
This life without you is meaningless,
Every separation was a bereavement,
Each time you came home was a new beginning
We knew time was short didn’t we?
There was no need for words we just made love!
Days now are nights and nights are days dreaming of you,
Your face is forever before me, I want to race towards the light of your love!!
My senses are alive again, my heart is beating, I must be where you are!
If this is death I’m glad so very very glad.
I feel so light the stone in my heart has GONE!
