Peace?

What is lucky to remain, is left desolate…….broken
Land is baron, cold, filled with hate
Bodies litter the ground like the unwanted wrappers left to rot our earth.
The ground is left stained with the blood of young innocents
Noise pollution fills the air…..screams…war cries
But what most hear are not war cries
But cries of desperation…..calls for a saviour in this hell ridden land.
Some untrained, some prepared, most not thinking at all.
Walking into the vast unknown, expecting the worst….
Families left abandoned, needing love from those lost……
Wives left widowed, children left fatherless…
Hearts broken, lives forgotten….
What has to happen before we can live in a world of peace
