No Regrets

If compassion came in a bottle
I would drink from it often and
Allow it to quench my thirsting soul
Dilute my heartaches
Wash away my tears
Refresh my brittle spirit
Soften my hardened heart
Let it flow and weave into
Every corner of my weary being
Uplifting my spirit
Cleansing my soul of all
Regrets and what might have beens
For all we have is here and now
With each tomorrow a gift
Of memories yet to be made
Each with no regrets
