“Narrator of the Spaces in between”

Midst ‘tales to tell’ we move (who scribe the void)
Betwixt both metaphor and lit’ral rhyme
Descriptive phrase so oft’ by choice employed
When spouting forth, thru ‘once upon a time’
Yet what is left unsaid intrigues the mind
Of all who chance to read its varied form
For poetry allows – ‘thoughts unconfined’
Within the realm of fantasy (as norm)
No subterfuge intended by such thread
Acknowledging of that which lies unseen
Where words meant to deflect, have oft’ misled
In truth tho’ not on show, have always been
Creation may be stifled by what’s known
Usurping of such ‘skill adept’ as shown
