My love for you

I wonder if you ever ponder,
That while you sleep, deep in slumber,
I sometimes quietly watch, ruptured in your beauty,
Watching ever watching, keeping you safe is my duty.

I Wonder if you ever knew,
Just how deep, my love for you,
I look at my life with you, and my heart sores,
Glad that I am to hold you, standing upon these shores,

I wonder if you ever see,
My whole hearted devotion to thee,
I feel my best next to your quiet form,
With the first rays of light signal the morn,

I wonder if you thought,
Only your love ever will be sought,
That beside you, each and every day,
Is where I would like to always stay.

I wonder if in you is felt,
The same love, making your heart melt,
When I gaze upon your loving form,
I think I’m the luckiest guy ever born.
