“My Life, a Book without Pages”

No ‘Gospels’ word doth mention ‘moi’ of course
Nor ‘Tenets of the Torah’ my decree
Known ‘Surahs of Quran’ hath single source
All ‘Ayahs’ penned as in soliloquy
Practitioners’ of ‘Shinto’ bend with flow
As “Buddhism’ brings ‘Karma’ to the fore
Held ‘Hindu’ customs hail from long ago
Perhaps with time itself as central core
Reflections on my life wouldst seem replete
With observations of such troubled kind
Where man’s confirmed beliefs at once compete
For prominence amongst the searching mind
Yet couldst I scribe upon a ‘Sacred Scroll’
Embracing of ones neighbours, I’d extol
