Missing

I miss you at home you’re not there
I miss you sitting in your favourite chair
I miss you the way you used to care

I miss you each night before I go to sleep
I miss you in dreams I awake and weep
I miss you when the hurt becomes too deep

I miss you with your happy smile
I miss you having a chat for a while
I miss you when I travel that extra mile

I miss you when each dawn breaks
I miss you every time my heart aches
I miss you when my smiles are fakes

I miss you each time that I pray
I miss you in every possible way
I miss you most at the close of each day
