Mind games

We all try to outwit
or say words to belittle
scared paranoid losing it
the weak knocked down like a skittle

You say this I say that
we all wish to be superior
tall, short, thin, fat
these make us inferior

I know best I’ve seen the light
but have you what do you know
we, selfish for ourselves fight
as lies, deceit and hate grow

Yes playing those mind games
so we can be on top
never mind the burning flames
as in deep self pity we pop.
