It matters not what thoughts you have
Every one has the right
To close their eyes and meditate
On how their past just might
Have turned out Oh! so differently
From the that life they now live
Tho’ sometimes terrible mistakes we make
And then ourselves forgive
But now and then it’s nice
To give our feelings vent
And then return to reality
Perhaps more happy and content
