Machines

is my mind simply a machine
one with cameras for eyes
filming what we have seen
instead of all the lies

so when you see the death in my eyes
just remember its a reflection of what ive seen
instead of all the lies
its everything i have been

they try to tell me to mix with society
i wish i could
yes a life of sobriety
at least i would of understood

is my eyes recording what i see
a peacefull land
where the majority be
i record taking your hand

in mine my friend
i record your children in safe hands
till the end
i record my favourite bands

so i must fade away
my cameras faded by dark
i can only say
not for long did i film the dark.
