Love, In Perpetuum

by | Oct 24, 2016 | Poetry | 0 comments

That unfathomable love you feel for me
Is deeper than the Ocean’s sea
And every leaf, of every tree
Will speak of all you mean to me.
And though the moon may shift the tide
We’ll be for ever side by side.
As the roses, and the willow, grow
The rivers ever onward flow
We’ll walk together hand in hand
Against Life’s changing fortunes stand.
As I was yours, and you were mine
Two branches in perpetuum twine.
Though winter to us all must come
We’ll be together as of one….
