I was selected by you,
I was trained by you,
I was sent by you,
to go wherever.

I was clothed by you,
I was fed by you,
I was housed by you,
at the end of a tether.

I was there when you called,
I was there to attend,
I was there to serve you,
my adopted Queen.

I delivered my service, so loyal and proud,
I delivered a war cry, frightening and loud,
I delivered my life, shot dead in a crowd,
all the things might have been.

And the price that was paid,
Gets higher each day,
Now that I’m gone
some others must pay,
so my family, you deport,
away.
