I WANT TO BE A SOLDIER

I want to be a soldier
Be brave stand tall and still
I want to fight my corner
And defend my own free will

My friend would be a stranger
Standing by my side
And in those times of danger
Be with me for the ride

My dad would be my corporal
Stern yet kind and fair
My family, oh so thoughtful
Forever and always there

I’d love to be a soldier
For queen and country fight
Until I grow much older
And rise to heavens light.

The army’s where I’m headed
Bag packed on shoulders strong
I’ll tell you when I get there
It shouldn’t take too long

If Isis think we’re frightened
Then they’re clearly out of luck
We’re the BRITISH ARMY…
and we just don’t give up!
